SAN ANTONIO โ€“ Pullman Market is serving up a full month of culinary experiences this August, featuring exclusive chef collaborations, interactive cooking classes, live entertainment and special dining events benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.

The Pearl destination’s August calendar includes a month-long pizza collaboration with Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, the return of the popular Mariscos y Mezquite seafood celebration, specialty events during Culinaria Restaurant Weeks and several recurring hands-on culinary experiences.

Pizza collaboration supports San Antonio Food Bank

Throughout Aug. 1 through Aug. 31, guests can enjoy a limited-time collaboration between Fife & Farro and Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery.

Southerleigh’s chefs have created a special take on one of Fife & Farro’s signature wood-fired pizzas, with 5% of proceeds benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.

The collaboration concludes with a one-night-only chef collaboration dinner on Aug. 27, featuring an exclusive multi-course menu available only that evening. A portion of proceeds from the dinner will also support the San Antonio Food Bank.

Pizza & Pilates returns Aug. 5

Guests looking for a unique evening can kick off the month with Pizza & Pilates on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

The experience begins with a mat Pilates class before participants join the chefs at Fife & Farro for a hands-on pizza-making class, followed by cocktails and dinner. The event starts at 5 p.m., with tickets priced at $45 per person.

Restaurants join Culinaria Restaurant Weeks

Pullman Market restaurants Mezquite and Ladino are once again participating in Culinaria’s Summer San Antonio Restaurant Weeks, running Aug. 8 through Aug. 29.

Guests can enjoy specially curated prix-fixe menus during the annual culinary celebration. Ladino will offer a dinner menu, while Mezquite will feature both lunch and dinner options throughout the event.

Mariscos y Mezquite returns Aug. 23

Seafood lovers can look forward to the return of Mariscos y Mezquite on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Presented in partnership with Minamoto, the event highlights seafood craftsmanship through unlimited chef-created ceviche tastings prepared by Pullman Market’s culinary team alongside chefs from Miles, Leche de Tigre, (a)mar and Ladino.

The afternoon also includes a live whole tuna breakdown presented by Bluefinรก.

Tickets are $55 per person and include unlimited ceviche tastings and a welcome cocktail.

Weekly culinary experiences continue

In addition to its featured events, Pullman Market will continue offering several recurring experiences throughout August:

  • Mariachi Nights at the Mezcaleria every Thursday with happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., tequila tastings beginning at 6 p.m. and live mariachi music starting at 7 p.m.
  • Ceviche-Making Experience every Tuesday at 5 p.m., where guests learn to prepare fresh ceviche with optional wine pairings available.
  • Pizza Making Classes at Fife & Farro every Monday and Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m., offering hands-on instruction in crafting traditional Italian pizzas.
  • Guac and Mezcal Nights at Mezquite every Sunday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m., featuring guided guacamole-making classes paired with curated mezcal tastings.

With a combination of chef collaborations, interactive culinary classes and seasonal dining experiences, Pullman Market’s August programming offers food lovers plenty of opportunities to explore new flavors while supporting local causes and celebrating San Antonio’s vibrant dining scene.
