Pullman Market Unveils October Lineup of Food, Wine and Fall Events
SAN ANTONIO – Pullman Market is welcoming October with a packed calendar of culinary collaborations, wine tastings, family activities, fitness events, live music and Halloween celebrations.
Throughout the month, guests can experience everything from a special pizza collaboration benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank to sommelier-led wine tastings, Pizza & Pilates, weekly run clubs and a new specialty beer launch.
Fife & Farro and Mezquite Team Up for October Collaboration
From Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, Fife & Farro and sister restaurant Mezquite will join forces for a special wood-fired pizza collaboration.
The chefs behind Mixtli are putting their own spin on one of Fife & Farro’s pizzas, with 5% of proceeds from the collaboration benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.
The month-long partnership will culminate Oct. 29 with a one-night-only Fife & Farro and Mezquite collaboration dinner. The evening will feature an exclusive menu of specialty dishes created specifically for the event, with 5% of proceeds also benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.
Isidore Hosts Sommelier-Led Wine Experiences
Wine lovers can expand their knowledge during Isidore’s “Sips with the Somm” series, featuring three curated wine education experiences from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The October lineup includes “Exploring Greece: Ancient Vines, Modern Wines” on Oct. 1, “Oktoberfest: The Wines of Germany & Alsace” on Oct. 8 and “Spain & Portugal: A Journey Through Iberian Wine” on Oct. 22.
Tickets are $50 per person and available through OpenTable.
Fall Family Crafts Arrive Oct. 7
Families can get into the fall spirit with Fall Family Crafts at Pullman Market on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
From 5 to 7 p.m. on the Main Entrance Patio, guests who purchase a pumpkin can participate in free pumpkin painting or carving.
Also happening Oct. 7 is Pizza & Pilates at Fife & Farro. The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a mat Pilates class before transitioning into a chef-led pizza-making class, cocktails and dinner. Tickets are $45 per person.
Pullman Run Club Returns Every Wednesday
Those looking to get moving before breakfast can join the Pullman Market Run Club every Wednesday morning in October.
The free weekly run begins at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28 and features a three-mile route along the river. A one-mile turnaround option will also be available for walkers.
After completing the route, participants will receive a discount card for breakfast and coffee at Pullman Market.
Mariachi and Tequila Tastings at Mezcaleria
Mezcaleria will bring together tequila and live music every Thursday throughout October.
Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m., tequila tastings begin at 6 p.m. and live mariachi music starts at 7 p.m.
Featured tequila tastings include Granalta Tequila on Oct. 8, Wild Common Tequila on Oct. 15 and El Tesoro Tequila on Oct. 29.
Jester King and Pullman Market Launch Specialty Beer
Pullman Market will team up with Jester King for a special beer launch party on Thursday, Oct. 15.
From 5 to 7 p.m., guests can enjoy happy hour, sample the new Jester King x Pullman Market specialty brew and participate in a meet-and-greet with the Jester King team.
Halloween Weekend Brings Late Nights to Mezcaleria
October will close with two nights of Halloween festivities at Mezcaleria.
Late Nights at Mezcaleria will take place Oct. 30 and 31, featuring a live DJ and seasonal specials for Halloween weekend.
