Positivity rate drops below 10 percent in Bexar County
It has been a few months since Bexar County’s COVID-19 positivity rate was below 10 percent. This is a good trend downward as fewer tested positive for the virus.
On Monday, San Antonio Metro Health District reported 109 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the overall total to 45,364.
It is evidence that facial coverings are assisting in helping slow the spread of the coronavirus.
In addition to this report, SAMH reported 99 new cases on Sunday and nine new deaths bringing the fatality total to 721. The number of new patients with the virus have dropped for the seventh day in a row.
