Live Oak, TX (May 9, 2025) – CPS Energy has announced a scheduled maintenance-related power outage that will affect approximately 249 customers in the Live Oak area of Northeast San Antonio on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The temporary outage is necessary to allow crews to safely install a new utility pole as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements. The scheduled maintenance aims to enhance the reliability and long-term performance of the electrical system serving the area.

Customers impacted by the outage were initially notified on Friday, May 9 at 3:00 p.m. and are expected to receive a follow-up notification on Wednesday, May 14 as a reminder.
