Pixel Portal Arcade Races Back to San Antonio with Pop-Up Tournaments!

SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 15, 2024) – Gamers, rejoice! Pixel Portal Arcade, a cherished San Antonio institution for classic and modern gaming, is making a triumphant return after a hiatus due to COVID-19. The arcade will host a series of pop-up events at various locations across the city, featuring video game tournaments designed for all ages and skill levels.

The first pop-up event is set to kick off on Sunday, July 28th, starting at 3 pm at Arenas Lounge in Stone Oak. This inaugural event will feature a Mario Kart tournament, inviting gamers of all experience levels to compete for prizes and bragging rights. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual player, this is your chance to showcase your skills and join the fun.

Marc Shilling, the owner of Pixel Portal Arcade, has meticulously maintained and restored over 80 retro arcade cabinets and consoles. Shilling’s passion for gaming and community has driven him to create a unique arcade experience that San Antonio can be proud of.
