SAN ANTONIO, TX — Palo Alto College has unveiled the official PACfest 2026 Medal and announced the largest artist lineup in the event’s history, marking a milestone year for one of the Southside’s most anticipated Fiesta® celebrations.
PACfest 2026 will take place Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the Palo Alto College campus. The event is the largest official Fiesta San Antonio celebration south of Highway 90.
This year’s festival holds special significance as Palo Alto College celebrates 40 Years of Care and Corazón, honoring four decades of service, community commitment, and student-centered education on San Antonio’s Southside.
To commemorate the milestone, PACfest 2026 will feature a high-energy Latin music lineup headlined by:
-
DJ Cesar K-OSO – San Antonio native known for cumbia-driven, high-energy Fiesta sets
-
La Tropa Estrella – Popular local cumbia group with a strong hometown following
-
Los Palominos – Grammy-winning Tejano legends known for hits like “Corazón de Cristal”
-
Grupo Control – Internationally recognized as Los Reyes de la Cumbia
-
Los Tigrillos – Long-standing cumbia and norteño favorites with multiple gold-status albums
Organizers say the lineup promises nonstop dancing and one of the most dynamic PACfest experiences to date.
“PACfest continues to be a celebration of the culture and music of the Southside community that Palo Alto College has called home for 40 years,” said Palo Alto College President Robert Garza. “This year’s lineup honors the heart of Fiesta cultura and reflects our commitment to bringing together a community of all ages.”
PACfest began in the early 1990s and became an official Fiesta® San Antonio event in 2003. Today, it is recognized as the largest official Fiesta event on the Southside, known for its vibrant atmosphere, live entertainment, iconic Fiesta food, and strong community impact.
The family-friendly festival will also include food booths, STEM Alley and Kid’s Activities presented by the Alamo AFCEA Education Foundation, Social Media Alley, and additional attractions. Proceeds from PACfest support student organizations and community initiatives at Palo Alto College.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes for a full day of music, food, and Fiesta fun.
