Pabst Brewing Company relocates their headquarters to San Antonio from Los Angeles

The iconic beverage brand Pabst Blue Ribbon has chosen downtown San Antonio over Los Angeles of its headquarters according to the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (SAEDF).

“San Antonio is filled with opportunity and creativity, it has a great talent pool, high quality of life, and is experiencing a cultural boom that we’d really like to be a part of,” said Matt Bruhn, GM of Pabst Brewing Company.

PBR brand is no stranger to the city as they have been operating in San Antonio for over 60 years. Now with their expansion announcement, the beverage company will be looking to hire up to 25 new employees over the next few months to work at their headquarters on Houston Street. They’ll have around 115 employees once they’re fully staffed.

Brands under their portfolio include Lone Star, Rainier, Schlitz, Old Style, National Bohemian, Stag, Stroh’s and Old Milwaukee. Their company history first started in Milwaukee before relocating to San Antonio then to Chicago and then to Los Angeles and now back to San Antonio within their 176 years of operation.

The Pabst Brewing Company headquarters had been in Los Angeles for decades.  Welcome back!
