Owner of Big Bob’s Burgers passes away at 50

Robert Riddle or better known as Bob Riddle, the owner of Big Bob’s Burgers passed away Friday morning according to staff of the establishment. Big Bob’s Burgers had first opened their doors in 2008 off of Harry Wurzbach before moving to Hidebrand and San Pedro. Before making burgers, Bob owned a restaurant called Podna’s Catfish and Po’boys, a cajun restaurant he owned off of Austin Highway.
Bob was the sous chef at Scanticon for 4 years and the sous chef at the Hyatt Regency Denver for 2 years. It was not confirmed on what caused the death of the famous burger icon, but we know that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2017.
