Non-profit organization will make it snow downtown each Saturday in December
Snow in San Antonio? Yes, that’s right! Centro San Antonio is making the holiday spirits bright this holiday season with a surprise snow shower in the forecast every Saturday starting on November 28th.
The snow will fall in various downtown spots throughout the month of December kicking off the non-profit organization’s “The Merriest of Downtown Memories” campaign.
In addition to the snow falling along major pedestrian corridors, there will be holiday lighting that will enhance the experience.
The fun doesn’t stop there. The Center City Development and Operations Department are also hosting scavenger hunts throughout downtown.
The Holiday Ornament scavenger hunt will be held December 1st through December 20th.
To make your spirits bright this holiday season CCDO invites the public to safely checkout “Illume” at San Pedro Creek Culture Park starting December 12th at 6 p.m. and “Holiday in the Garden” at Hemisfair on December 19th starting at 3 to 5 p.m.
