SAN ANTONIO โ€” Nicosi, the Michelin-starred dessert tasting experience located inside Pullman Market, is marking its second anniversary with its first-ever chef collaboration dinner, bringing together some of the nation’s top pastry talent for a one-night-only culinary event on June 26.

The special anniversary dinner will feature acclaimed New York pastry chef Camari Mick, who will join Nicosi’s Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph and Chef Jorge Hernandez in the kitchen for a collaborative multi-course dining experience.

The themed menu will draw inspiration from West Africa, Spain, the Caribbean, Mexico and Texas. Each chef will create an individual course, while all three chefs will work together on the evening’s final dessert.

Since opening in June 2024, Nicosi has quickly become one of the country’s most celebrated dessert-focused dining destinations. Bristol-Joseph was named Esquire’s “Pastry Chef of the Year” in 2024, while Nicosi earned a Michelin Star in the 2025 Michelin Guide Texas. The restaurant has also received recognition from Food & Wine, Robb Report and the San Antonio Express-News.

Bristol-Joseph and Hernandez said they are excited to welcome Mick for the milestone event.

“We are thrilled to partner with Chef Mick, a culinary powerhouse whose deep respect for the individuality of ingredients is matched by a remarkable ability to use food as a medium for storytelling,” the chefs said in a statement. “As we celebrate this milestone year, we can think of no better way to mark the occasion than by honoring the collaborative spirit that has continuously uplifted and inspired our team.”

Mick has earned national recognition throughout her career, including being named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs in 2024 and becoming a four-time James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef. Her experience includes leadership roles at some of New York City’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Michelin-starred establishments such as The Musket Room, TAK Room, Le Bernardin and db Bistro Moderne.

She is currently preparing to open her first solo venture, L’Atelier ร‰bรจne, a bakery and brasserie in New York City that explores the connections between the African Diaspora and traditional French pastry techniques.

“I’m so excited to cook alongside my friend Tavel Bristol Joseph and chef Jorge Hernandez to celebrate this incredible two-year milestone for Nicosi,” Mick said. “I look forward to bringing some Afro-Caribbean flair to Texas and spending time with San Antonio’s vibrant local community.”

Tickets for the anniversary dinner are $150 per person and include the full multi-course dining experience along with a curated beverage pairing. Seatings will be available at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
