New low-fare airline arriving to San Antonio

A brand-new airline called Breeze Airways will be arriving at the San Antonio International Airport starting July 15th. The airline is owned by Jetblue founder David Neeleman.

The airline will offer non-stop flights to these following cities.

  • Bentonville/Fayetteville, Arkansas, beginning July 15
  • Oklahoma City, beginning July 15
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning July 15

“These 16 cities are just the beginning for Breeze,” said founder David Neeleman. “The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nation’s air service has meant many secondary markets and smaller cities have seen a significant reduction in flights. There are so many city pairs needing nonstop service around the country, we have a further 100 cities under consideration. Flying nonstop, Breeze will get you there in half the time, but also for about half the price!”

The ticket prices are broken down into two categories, “nice” and “nicer”.

The nice tickets start at $39 and that includes one personal item on board. The nicer tickets offer more legroom, seat assignment, a complimentary drink and snack, one personal item and a carry-on bag, and one checked bag, oh yeah, and priority boarding.

There is a $20 bag fee for additional bags. Breeze airlines has a point system called BreezePoints that helps customers.
