✅ The Last Public Exit on the Comal River Reopens
After a $1.2 million upgrade, the Last Public Exit on the Comal River is now officially open. This vital spot for tubers and river-goers features:

ADA-accessible upgrades to ensure everyone can safely enjoy the river
City officials say the improvements make the exit point more efficient, inclusive, and much safer for all visitors.

The Landa Park Aquatic Complex—specifically its iconic Olympic Pool—has undergone a massive $2.75 million renovation, its first major update in nearly six decades. The upgraded complex now includes:

🚫 A Friendly Reminder: Know the River Rules
With more people expected to hit the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers this weekend, the City of New Braunfels is also reminding everyone about its strict disposable container ordinance.
The ordinance prohibits bringing any disposable food or beverage containers on the rivers. That includes:

Aluminum cans

Plastic water or soda bottles

Glass containers

Styrofoam coolers or cups

Zip-top bags

Paper napkins or food wrappers
Violators can be fined up to $500. Park rangers and police officers will be actively enforcing the rules throughout the holiday weekend and beyond.
Additional ordinances include:

Cooler size must be 30 quarts or less

No bridge jumping

No volume drinking devices

Music volume and float sizes are also regulated
