Nama Ramen moves into larger restaurant and to soon open
Chu, a third-generation San Antonio restaurateur said that the city has shown nothing but love and support for his restaurant Nama Ramen. The restaurant used to be located inside The Point shopping center at 6565 Babcock Rd in suite 19. Now, they’re moving into a much larger stand alone building at 6526 Babcock Rd., not far from their first spot.
Chu mentioned that his grandfather had immigrated from Hong Kong and had got a $500 loan to build a fried chicken spot on the city’s west side. That spot now sells Jamaican food.
Chu explained that his parents got their start to the restaurant industry and had experienced 40 years themselves.
With restaurants that are in the blood of their family, he is keeping their tradition going with a brand new location that customers will come, enjoy and celebrate.
The front of the new building features sun rays to signify that they will rise and the writing on the wall shows the different ingredients they use also their family names and addresses to their former businesses to show where they came from.
The business announced that they are pretty close to opening up their doors to the public for those who are craving their delicious dishes like their beef noodle bowls or their classic karaage ramen that’s always a hit!
