It has been 10 years since the opening of Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first ultra-accessible family fun park. In a video message by Philanthropist Gordon Hartman, he said they will not be reopening for the remaining duration of the year due to the ongoing pandemic our community is facing.

Hartman describes the troubling times but assures they are not shutting down.

“COVID-19 says ‘stay apart,’ while Morgan’s Wonderland says ‘come together.,’” he added.  “We’re different because of our emphasis on inclusion, so we’re erring on the side of caution in deciding to close for the 2020 season.”

Hartman included that they are working on ways they can still engage with the community through creative ideas.

The park has been closed since March 14th when Mayor Ron Nierenberg had moved forward with the health emergency declaration.
