More Final Four Music Festival artists announced

Next weekend will be a major event that drives millions of dollars in revenue for the city as well as hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over. All eyes will be on San Antonio during Final Four.

San Antonio has been home to a total of three NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Tournaments in 1994, 1998 and 2008. Apart of the fun is the free three-day concert music festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hemisfair field.

Friday, March 30th kicks things off at 4pm with platinum-selling country music star Kelsea Ballerini and followed by two-time Academy of Country Music Award winning “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean at the AT&T Block Party.

On Saturday, March 31st at 2pm, Catch a live broadcast of the first semifinal game followed by three-time GRAMMY award winning “Despacito” artist Luis Fonsi will start things off. Followed by GRAMMY award winning Imagine Dragons on Coca-Cola night.

Then Sunday, April 1st (Easter Day) at 3pm will be a jam packed line-up starting with pop music artist Daya then GRAMMY award winning artist Panic! at the Disco followed by GRAMMY award winning OneRepublic and then GRAMMY award winning Maroon 5 will be shutting down Capital One night.

Do know that you do not need tickets as this is a first come, first served event that is open to the public. Also take note that downtown traffic is predicted to be congested, so it is best to seek alternative transit opportunities such as VIA, รœber, Lyft, Taxi, Pedi-Cab, River Taxi or other means of transportation.
