Moderna vaccine arrives in San Antonio
Moderna, the second approved vaccine for COVID-19 has arrived in San Antonio on Wednesday.
Staff at the Southwest General Hospital has received 300 doses of the vaccine to begin distributing to staff. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) has also received the vaccine.
A total of 30,000 d0ses of the Moderna vaccinations have been shipped to locations throughout San Antonio. About 28,000 doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccination were distributed throughout San Antonio a week ago.
