San Antonio families have something exciting to look forward to as Mitchell’s Landing, a new inclusive playground, is set to open on November 30 with a grand celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This highly anticipated playground, located in Classen-Steubing Ranch Park at 20202 Hardy Oak Blvd, aims to provide a welcoming space for children of all abilities to play and explore.

The event is hosted by the Mitchell Chang Foundation in collaboration with the City of San Antonio’s Parks & Recreation and Public Works departments, along with support from District 9 Councilman John Courage. Mitchell’s Landing has been thoughtfully designed to offer an inclusive play experience, featuring accessible play structures and sensory-friendly elements that invite everyone in the community to join in the fun.
