Mi Tierra is now tapping into the pizza and wing market

The La Familia Cortez are changing the pizza game. With operations coming out of Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery downtown (218 Produce Row) is trying out their newest concept, Zapata’s Pizza.

The 16″ pizzas are inspired by Mexican cultures and flavors.

The pizzas are handmade and inspired by Mexican cultures and flavors like Frida’s Favorite, El Classico, Suprema, Pesto Pizza, Michoacána, El Tapado, Vegeteriana, Choriqueso, and Margarita.

The restaurant isn’t stopping at pizza, they also are serving up wings that are available in  6 or 12 piece that can come in delicious flavors such as dry rub menudo and lemon pepper or wet sauces mild, hot, Cholula, chipotle bbq, sweet jalapeño or mango habanero.

If you’re looking for a combination for your family, they offer two family packs.

  • Tres Grandes – choice of speciality pizza, 6 piece wings and cheese sticks.
  • Pachanga Pack – choice of two specialty pizzas, 12 piece wings and a gallon of margaritas.

Zapata’s Pizza also will be doing happy hour daily from 3 – 7pm for $12 with a choice of El Classico or cheese pizza and two house margaritas.

They’ll be taking orders for to-go and delivery only through DoorDash.
