SAN ANTONIO – Spurs legend Manu Ginobili made a surprise appearance in one of MrBeast’s latest viral videos, taking on a unique challenge in the “World’s Fastest Man vs Robot” series. The concept pairs top-tier athletes with robotic counterparts designed to outperform them at their own specialty.
In the episode, Manu goes head-to-head with one of the most advanced basketball-shooting robots in the world. Both the NBA Hall of Famer and the robot were tested on two hoops — a standard basket and a second, much tougher version outfitted with sharp spikes protruding around the rim to increase difficulty.
Spoiler alert: despite his iconic clutch talent, Manu didn’t walk away with the win this time. The robot secured the victory and claimed the medal for Team Robot, giving the machines another point in the series.
Ginobili’s appearance brought excitement to Spurs fans and viewers worldwide, adding star power and a fun competitive twist to MrBeast’s ongoing robot-versus-human showdowns.
