Closure Details:
Commencing on Monday, January 29, 2024, through Friday, February 2, 2024, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., TxDOT will implement a full nightly closure of the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes. This closure will stretch from the Stone Oak Parkway exit ramp to the Blanco Road entrance ramp.

Purpose of Closure:
The closure is a strategic measure undertaken as part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project. TxDOT will utilize this time to perform critical tasks, including barrier setting and striping, essential for the ongoing expansion and improvement of the Loop 1604 corridor.

Detour Information:
For the duration of the closure, Loop 1604 westbound mainlane traffic will be redirected as follows:
– Exit at Stone Oak Parkway and proceed on the westbound frontage road.
– Navigate through the Stone Oak Parkway and Blanco Road intersections on the frontage road.
– Re-enter the westbound mainlanes of Loop 1604 via the entrance ramp located west of Blanco Road.
