Local Businesses Unite for Back to School Bash: A Heartwarming Community Effort

San Antonio, TX – In a remarkable display of community spirit and generosity, R&J Music Pavilion, in conjunction with Milas LLC., Texas Roadhouse, Don Pedro Mexican Restaurant, B&N Sports Bar, Dent Cure LLC, Design Temp Air Conditioning Inc., and Pure Moments Photography, hosted a Back to School Bash this past Sunday, August 4th, at 18086 Pleasanton Rd. The event aimed to support families in the Southside community during these challenging economic times.

Over 300 backpacks filled with basic school supplies and sundries were distributed to children, ensuring they are well-prepared for the new academic year. The event also featured free haircuts provided by Level Up Kutz and a variety of clothes available for all ages, making it a comprehensive support effort for families in need.

The event was made possible by the heartfelt contributions of many donors, including Michael Davenport, Ms. De La Cruz, Brandon Lopez, and the Duque family. Additionally, All of San Antonio Foundation played a significant role in supporting the initiative.

The Back to School Bash was more than just a giveaway; it was a celebration filled with music and joy. The stage saw performances by a host of local artists including Conjunto Cats, Jerry De Leon, Jordan Gauna, Selestial Alcoser, Mario Flores, Nate De Leon, Ryan Edwards, Sunny Sauceda, Thomas Jimenez, Gabe Garcia, Justin Gallegos, and Vinny Tovar. These talented musicians performed at random times, providing a continuous soundtrack to the event and lifting the spirits of all attendees.

“This event is our way of giving back to the community that supports us,” said a spokesperson for R&J Music Pavilion. “We understand the hardships many families are facing, and we wanted to do something meaningful to help.”
