Leon Valley Cafe will soon close due to economic effects of the pandemic

It is sad to report that after six years of serving people in the community that on December 19, 2020 the Leon Valley Cafe at 6417 Evers Road will close their doors.

The little 16 seat restaurant nestled next to the Leon Valley Library across from Raymond Rimkus Park had been a thriving little community hot spot to grab breakfast or lunch. In a post to Facebook, the cafe had said that their presence in their community for the amount of time they’ve been in business is an accomplishment.

Users of the social media platform were sharing their memories and experiences they’ve had at the establishment.
