SAN ANTONIO — La Panadería has announced a new five-year partnership with UTSA Roadrunners, marking a historic collaboration that blends San Antonio’s love of local flavors with Roadrunner pride.
To celebrate the partnership, the bakery has debuted the Official UTSA Concha, now available exclusively at its La Panadería at La Cantera location.
The pastry reimagines La Panadería’s classic concha with a bold UTSA-orange crust and a Nutella-filled center, creating a sweet tribute to the university’s spirited fan base.
Historic Sponsorship Milestones
As part of the partnership, La Panadería will play a visible role across multiple areas of UTSA Athletics. The collaboration includes several firsts for the university’s athletic programs:

Official UTSA Football Practice Jersey Patch Sponsor, the first sponsorship patch in program history

Official Sponsor of UTSA Cheer, becoming the first brand to appear as a patch on a collegiate cheer uniform

Corporate sponsorship presence across several UTSA sports, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball
The agreement also includes direct financial support designated for UTSA Cheer and Rowdy, the university’s beloved mascot, as well as team meals and community activations.
Community Engagement
As part of the collaboration, UTSA Cheer and Rowdy will also appear at upcoming La Panadería grand openings, bringing Roadrunner spirit directly to the bakery’s celebrations across the city.
