Kimpton Santo Hotel to Open August 29 with Exclusive Launch Specials

SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 22, 2024) – White Lodging and Kimpton Santo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, are excited to announce the grand opening of the Kimpton Santo Hotel on Thursday, August 29, 2024. As the first Kimpton property in San Antonio and the second largest in the country, the hotel blends the rich history of the area with premier service and modern amenities, offering 347 luxury guest rooms and suites.

To celebrate the much-anticipated launch, Kimpton Santo is inviting guests to enjoy a range of exclusive VIP and food and beverage specials throughout the opening month.

Exclusive Food & Beverage Specials

• Kimpton Santo’s signature restaurant, Dean’s Steak & Seafood (DeansSteakandSeafood.com), boasts a stunning two-level dining room with 207 seats, an oyster bar, and a specially curated private wine room, ensuring that every meal is a memorable one. Opening specials include:

  • Dinner: From Thursday August 29, 2024 until Monday, September 30, 2024, Dean’s Steak & Seafood will offer guests 50% off the entire food bill during dinner service every Sunday through Thursday (beverages excluded, not available Fridays and Saturdays).

  • Brunch: For brunch, available on Saturdays and Sundays, guests will be able to buy one entree and get a second entree on the house. Guests partaking in the brunch special can also enjoy select bottles of house bubbles for only $1, with a limit of one bottle per group of two. The brunch special is available through September 29, 2024.

  • Kids: Kids 10 and under eat for free every breakfast and brunch service, available through September 29, 2024 for brunch and September 30, 2024 for breakfast.

The hotel’s name draws inspiration from the soulful essence of San Antonio’s namesake, Saint Anthony, and the history of the land on which the hotel resides. The property includes several preserved 19th-century German-English schoolhouse buildings, integrated into the hotel’s design.

Situated at 431 S. Alamo, on the border between Downtown and Southtown, the Kimpton Santo Hotel features eight charming schoolhouse guest suites within one of the historic buildings, complete with stone-clad walls and semi-private patios overlooking a historic courtyard shaded by century-old oak trees. Another historic building has been transformed into the hotel’s signature restaurant, Dean’s Steak & Seafood.
