The San Antonio Spurs say goodbye to Ime Udoka who took a position as one of the assistant coaches for the Philladelphia 76ers. Udoka had spent the last seven seasons with the San Antonio Spurs’ bench under the direction of Coach Gregg Popovich. His tenure with the Spurs led to become part of the coaching staff that led the Spurs to the 2014 NBA Championship.
Udoka had also served as the Spurs’ Summer League head coach. Udoka joins Coach Brett Brown who had also served as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs in 2007 under Gregg Popovich.
