The City of San Antonio is continuing its commitment to environmental responsibility by hosting its Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Monthly Drop-Off Events. These events occur on the first Friday and the next-day Saturday of each month, providing residents with a convenient and safe way to dispose of hazardous household materials.

- Location: Bitters Bulky Waste Collection Center, 1800 Wurzbach Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78216
These events are a vital service for the community, helping to keep hazardous materials out of landfills and protecting the environment. Residents are encouraged to bring items such as paint, batteries, chemicals, and other hazardous household products for proper disposal.
Acceptable Items Include:
- Paint and paint products
- Household cleaners and chemicals
- Batteries
- Pesticides and fertilizers
- Motor oil and antifreeze
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Electronics (small household items)
Important Reminders:
- Please ensure all items are labeled and in their original containers.
- Do not mix different products together.
- Keep materials in a well-ventilated space in your vehicle during transport.
Future Events:
