Hotel Valencia Riverwalk Hosts Carter Creek Wine Dinner Jan. 22

SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 12, 2026) โ€” Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, part of the Valencia Hotel Collection, will host a four-course wine dinner featuring selections from Carter Creek Winery on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026. The event will take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Dorregoโ€™s.

The evening pairs award-winning Carter Creek wines with a thoughtfully crafted menu by Executive Chef Mark Scheck, highlighting refined flavors designed to complement each pour.

The dinner will begin with an amuse bouche featuring Sparkling Tempranillo Rosรฉ alongside oysters on the half shell with pomegranate mignonette.

The first course pairs Plateau White 2023 with a cold-smoked poached pear salad featuring burrata, arugula, prosciutto, shaved Parmesan, and white balsamic vinaigrette.

For the second course, guests will enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 served with sous vide duck breast, parsnip purรฉe, rainbow Swiss chard, port cherry demi, and a thyme risotto croquette.

The third course showcases Group Therapy Red paired with smoked lamb chops, sweet potato purรฉe, fava bean and wild mushroom ragout, and red wine rosemary jus.

Dessert concludes the evening with Dominum Tinto Port accompanied by port-infused chocolate mousse, marinated fresh berries, white chocolate blossoms, blueberry sauce, and pistachio dust.

Tickets are $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made through OpenTable. Complimentary valet parking will be provided. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
