Northeast side is home to the original Hops & Hounds, where dog lovers can get together and enjoy a meal and a brew. The owners are pursuing a new location on the Riverwalk north of downtown San Antonio near the Museum Reach area. The new 1.5 acre location at 1123 Avenue B, by Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen is where the new dog friendly establishment will go.

They’ll feature a full bar, kitchen, and a coffee shop for the early birds taking their best friend for a walk.

They’ll offer a similar menu just like their main location at 13838 Jones Maltsberger Rd. such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos and of course the loaded tots!

Their drink menu will consist of up to 25 draft brews, craft cocktails, and frozen margaritas. The coffee bar will open up towards Avenue B and open at 7 in the morning and customers can choose from different coffees to espressos.

They anticipate the establishment to open around December.
