The first ever XFL Championship took place Saturday, May 13th inside the Alamodome downtown San Antonio. While it wasn’t our very own Brahmas that was on the field, two contenders reigned the final game with one goal and took to the field in epic energy. The Arlington Renegades took on the D.C. Defenders in the final match up with XFL owners Dwayne “Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia watching from the sidelines.
When all four quarters wrapped up, the Arlington Renegades took home the XFL Championship trophy in the pigskin battle. Luis Perez had been named the XFL MVP with an impressive 288 yards, 3 touchdowns.
