San Antonio, TX – Greenhouse Coffee & Wholesome Foods has announced the closure of its Olmos Park location, effective Sunday, September 15, 2024. The local favorite, known for its cozy atmosphere and wholesome menu, has been a beloved part of the community throughout the year.
In a heartfelt message shared with patrons, the Greenhouse Team expressed their regret at having to close due to rising real estate costs, which have made it increasingly difficult to continue operations. “Unfortunately, it’s time to close our doors in Olmos Park. We loved serving you for the better part of 2024,” the announcement reads.
The closure marks the end of an era for regulars who have come to enjoy Greenhouse’s unique offerings, including their much-loved tahini cookie. However, the team emphasized that this is not a final goodbye. “This isn’t a ‘goodbye forever,’ just a ‘see you later’ until we can find a home that will allow Greenhouse to grow and prosper.”
The Greenhouse Team encourages customers to visit before their final day of operations to enjoy their favorite menu items one last time. “Come grab your Greenhouse favorites until then!” they urged.
The Olmos Park location at 221 E Hildebrand Ave has been a staple for coffee lovers and health-conscious eaters in the area. While the closure is a significant loss for the community, there is hope that Greenhouse will find a new location that supports its mission and allows it to continue serving the San Antonio community.
The Greenhouse Team concluded their message with a sincere note of gratitude: “Thank you for everything!”
As the search for a new location begins, loyal customers and supporters eagerly await the next chapter for Greenhouse Coffee & Wholesome Foods.
