Grand Hyatt San Antonio Serves World Baseball Classic Burger and Beer Special

SAN ANTONIO — Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is stepping up to the plate with a limited-time dining special celebrating the excitement of the World Baseball Classic. Available through March 17, guests can enjoy the themed Baseball Smash Burger and beer pairing at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Moda Fare.

The featured burger includes a toasted potato bun, a 1/3-pound prime beef patty, garlic aioli, caramelized onions and pepper jack cheese, served alongside house fries. The special also includes a beer from around the world, bringing an international flavor to the plate for $20.

Guests can choose from a global selection of beers that reflect the international spirit of the World Baseball Classic. Options include Moosehead Lager from Canada, Presidente Pilsner from the Dominican Republic, Birra Moretti from Italy, Asahi Super Dry from Japan, Coors Light from the United States, Dos Equis from Mexico and Heineken from the Netherlands.

For those who prefer a nonalcoholic option, the beer can be substituted with Heineken 0.0, tea or soda.

The promotion ties into the global nature of the World Baseball Classic, a tournament that brings together national teams from around the world to compete on baseball’s international stage.
