Freeman Colisuem to host drive-thru dinosaur exhibit

COVID-19 has changed the way events are done. A new exhibit in town now lets you see dinosaurs from the comfort of your vehicle. Jurassic Quest will be coming to the Freeman Coliseum (gate G) starting June 12th through the 21st.

You’ll be able to visit 23 dinosaur scenes that are outfitted with animatronic realistic looking dinosaurs and their handlers. Witness over 70 dinosaurs including the 50-foot Megalodon.

“To help ensure guests and their families have a fun and safe experience, in alignment with state and local policy and our own additional internal guidelines, we continue to take extra precautionary measures to provide a clean and enjoyable event,” according to a statement. “Guests are to remain in vehicles and to wear face masks in the event they exit in allowed areas, including restrooms and the Dino Store. Social distancing will be requested of all guests and maintained by Jurassic Quest crew. We will be sanitizing equipment, dinosaurs, and work stations more frequently and thoroughly throughout the entirety of the event. Our employees will be applying hand sanitizer and washing their hands regularly throughout each day, in addition to wearing masks. Guest safety and enjoyment is our top priority.”

Tickets are available online at $40 per vehicle and lasts 30 minutes to an hour.
There are house rules to follow:
– Jurassic Quest accepts no responsibility for damage to vehicles, persons, or property by the dinosaurs
–ย  Keep the doors to your vehicle closed at all times
– Obey the 5 MPH speed limit
– No one can ride in the bed of trucks
– Can’t touch the dinosaurs
– No smoking is allowed on the premises
– No refunds due to inclement weather
– Pets are allowed but must remain inside the vehicle unless where stopping is allowed
– Face masks must be worn if you exit your vehicle for restroom breaks or the Dino Store
