Free Youth Baseball and Softball Clinic Coming to Nelson Wolff Stadium
Young athletes across San Antonio will have the opportunity to sharpen their baseball and softball skills this summer during a free youth clinic hosted at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium.
The instructional clinic, presented by San Antonio Area Chevy Dealers, will take place on Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3, and is open to baseball and softball players ages 6 to 14.
Participants will work alongside experienced staff from Texas Bombers San Antonio while rotating through various skill stations focused on the fundamentals of the game. Organizers say the clinic is designed for all skill levels, and children do not need to be enrolled in a league to participate.
Youth with special needs ages 6 and older are also encouraged to attend.
Check-in for the clinic begins from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., with instructional rotations running from 9 a.m. to noon. Organizers noted that late check-ins will still be accepted to ensure children can participate even if families arrive after the scheduled start time.
Spots for the clinic are limited, and advance registration is required.
Families can register by visiting Chevroletโs Youth Sports website, selecting the San Antonio clinic location, and using the registration password โplayball.โ Confirmation emails will be sent after completing the digital waiver and registration process.
The event aims to provide local youth with a fun and educational experience while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development on the field.
