First Kuma ice cream shop location on Babcock to close up shop permanently
As it is sad to learn that the original Kuma that brought Hong Kong style waffle ice cream cones to the Alamo City won’t be renewing their lease at their first ever location at 6565 Babcock after 5 years.
In a social media post, they grew their business to two locations in San Antonio. This means fans can still get their waffle cone ice cream fix. One of their locations is on the far West side at 7915 W Loop 1604 N Ste 120, San Antonio, TX 78254, right off of Shaenfield Road. The other Kuma location is in the Northside area in The Shops of Canyons shopping center at 3107 TPC Pkwy Ste 103, San Antonio, TX 78259.
If you’re thinking of planning on visiting the Babcock location, you may want to do so before they close up shop on May 31st.
