SAN ANTONIO — A new wave of Fiesta energy is heading sky-high as High Praise, the chic rooftop lounge, prepares to host a series of vibrant events this April—highlighted by the San Antonio debut of Austin-based brand The Mushroom Cowboy.
Making its first appearance in the Alamo City, The Mushroom Cowboy will bring its signature daytime dance party, The Morning Spin, to High Praise on April 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Fiesta-themed event will transform the rooftop into a lively mix of house music, premium coffee, and specialty cocktails, offering a fresh twist on traditional Fiesta celebrations.
To mark the occasion, the first 200 guests will receive a free, limited-edition Morning Spin Fiesta medal—making it a must-visit stop for collectors and Fiesta fans. Attendees can also browse and shop exclusive Mushroom Cowboy merchandise available only during the event. Admission is free for guests 21 and older, with RSVP required.

Four Hands Dinner — April 16–18
For those seeking a refined escape from the Fiesta crowds, the hotel will host an exclusive three-night culinary collaboration. Chef de Cuisine Jeffrey Bianchi of InterContinental Boston’s Matria restaurant will join forces with Cavalier’s Chef de Cuisine Jose Rodriguez to present a multi-course dining experience. The menu will feature elevated dishes such as lobster gnocchi alla brava, lamb shank with roasted cabbage and fennel, and a torn burrata and confit beet tower, among other selections.
