Exquisite Flavors Savored: Recap of Dobel Tequila Dinner at Dorrego’s

On Thursday, May 16, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk hosted a Dobel Tequila Dinner at its Argentinean-inspired restaurant, Dorregoโ€™s, starting at 6:30 p.m. The evening kicked off with a refreshing Hisbiscus Sparkler cocktail featuring Dobel Pavito, hibiscus syrup, honey syrup, mint, lemon juice, and Topo Chico.

The culinary journey continued with a Baja-Style Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche paired with a Cucumber Smash Cocktail, crafted with Dobel Silver Tequila, ginger syrup, cucumber, and lime juice.

For the second course, guests indulged in Grilled Quail accompanied by Oaxacan Mole Negro and Lobster Tamale Tart, complemented by a Cristalino Sour made with Maestro Dobel Diamante, Cointreau, agave, lime juice, grapefruit juice, egg white, and grapefruit sugar.

The feast reached its pinnacle with a Barbacoa Braised Short Rib served alongside Jicama and Cucumber Salad and Fresh Blue Corn tortillas, accompanied by an El Padrino cocktail featuring Dobel Anejo, angostura bitters, mole bitters, agave, orange peel, and luxardo cherry.

To round off the evening on a sweet note, guests enjoyed a Trio of House-Spun Sorbets paired with La Dulce, showcasing Dobel 50.

This delectable culinary experience was expertly prepared by Chef Brian Randolph and his team.
