SAN ANTONIO – March 21, 2024 – Amidst the serene backdrop of the Texas Hill Country, JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa announces a million-dollar enhancement project, poised to elevate the culinary landscape of the prestigious establishment. Scheduled for an early Summer 2024 unveiling, the resort is fervently preparing to introduce FIAMME Pizzeria, an avant-garde dining outlet promising an exceptional pizza experience.

Derived from the Italian word for “flames,” FIAMME Pizzeria aims to ignite palates with its rendition of Neapolitan pizza, a culinary tradition steeped in simplicity and freshness. Alongside its signature pies, the outlet will offer an array of accompaniments ranging from appetizers, salads, and desserts to unique cocktails and the resort’s bespoke Hill Country Honey Blonde Beer.

Positioned on the lower lobby level adjacent to the esteemed Cibolo Moon, FIAMME Pizzeria will provide guests with an opportunity to savor their meals amidst the breathtaking outdoor vistas that characterize the resort’s landscape. With seating available for approximately 25 patrons indoors, the venue promises an intimate and immersive dining experience.

At the heart of FIAMME Pizzeria lies its centerpiece – a Morello Forni dome mosaic pizza oven, meticulously imported from Italy. This seven-foot behemoth, adorned with seven-inch-thick walls and weighing over 7,000 pounds, embodies authenticity and craftsmanship. Equipped with an electric rotating pizza stone, the oven ensures the consistency and flavor profile synonymous with Neapolitan pizza.
