The residents of Schertz will no longer be traveling up to New Braunfels any longer. The small town of 39,453 (according to 2016 census) will now have their own place to watch movies and play.

San Marcos based EVO Entertainment will start construction on their new 73,000 square foot facility opening up in February 2019. The new entertainment facility will feature 10-movie screens,16-lanes of bowling, a bar, more than 100 video games, laser tag, a full restaurant, a virtual reality experience center and an outdoor area with games, firepits and TV’s to name a few of the amenities.

According to CEO Mitchell Roberts: “Our company has called Central Texas home since the very beginning and Schertz has always seemed like a perfect match. When we first deployed the cinema-hybrid model, we did so with outstanding guest experience in mind and have since made some truly innovative and impressive improvements to the concept.”

The company has four theaters in New Braunfels, Kyle, and San Marcos.
