Great news San Antonio, Flyleaf just added San Antonio to their 20th Anniversary Tour stop. They’ll be performing at the Aztec Theatre downtown San Antonio on July 26th with original singer Lacey Sturm.

Flyleaf is an American rock band formed in Texas in the early 2000s, known for blending hard rock intensity with melodic hooks and emotionally charged lyrics. The band broke into the mainstream with their 2005 self-titled debut album, which featured hits like “I’m So Sick,” “Fully Alive,” and “All Around Me.” The album went platinum and cemented their place in the mid-2000s alternative rock scene.

Fronted originally by vocalist Lacey Sturm, Flyleaf became known for their dynamic contrast between heavy guitar riffs and vulnerable, faith-inspired themes. Their follow-up album, Memento Mori (2009), debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and continued their momentum with singles such as “Again” and “Missing.”

After Sturm departed in 2012, the band released Between the Stars (2014) with vocalist Kristen May. In later years, Flyleaf reunited with Sturm for select performances and new music, reigniting excitement among longtime fans.

With a sound that balances grit and grace, Flyleaf remains a recognizable name in alternative and Christian rock circles, praised for passionate live shows and a devoted fan base that spans generations.
