SAN ANTONIO, TX — January 9, 2025 — Get ready to let the good times roll! Six Flags Fiesta Texas is bringing back its highly anticipated Mardi Gras Festival, now recognized as Texas’ largest Mardi Gras celebration. Running on select dates from January 18 through March 16, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an expanded parade, live entertainment, and a mouthwatering Taste of Mardi Gras food festival.

A Parade Like No Other

The centerpiece of this year’s celebration is the largest Mardi Gras Parade in park history, featuring five brand-new floats alongside returning fan favorites. This dazzling procession is elevated by captivating street performers, intricate float designs, and an original musical score that brings the spirit of New Orleans to life. Guests are encouraged to immerse themselves in the revelry by dancing, singing, and interacting with performers during the parade stops.

Taste of Mardi Gras Food Festival

Foodies will rejoice at the Taste of Mardi Gras, a culinary tour of Louisiana’s most iconic flavors. Expanded festival locations offer more chances to savor classics like gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets, as well as bold new dishes like Bacon Boudin Bites and Frozen Hurricanes. This flavorful journey showcases the unique and rich culinary traditions of New Orleans.

Entertainment for All Ages

The festival boasts a wide array of live entertainment across 10 locations, including:

• The Fleur de Lis
• The GummBeaux
• The Voo Doo Dolls, a high-energy show blending music, dance, and storytelling, set in Rockville High.

Interactive character meet-and-greets, awe-inspiring aerialists, and vibrant performances ensure nonstop excitement for all ages.

Houngan House of Voodoo

Adding a touch of mystery, the Houngan House of Voodoo invites guests to explore a cursed French Quarter shop filled with magical curiosities, including potions, charms, and gris-gris. This immersive walk-through attraction is included with park admission and adds a thrilling layer of intrigue to the festival experience.

Family-Friendly Fun

New this year, Mardi’s Craft Corner offers complimentary activities, including mask-making and a collaborative color-by-number mural, allowing families to unleash their creativity while celebrating the Mardi Gras spirit.
