Local eatery Earl Abel’s has been in business since 1933, serving up comfort foods, fried chicken and desserts.
Earl Abel’s move was located off of Austin Highway. The owners were interested in looking for a smaller space. Earl Abel’s isn’t a stranger to moving locations though, the very first location was on North Main Avenue back in 1933. With several locations back then, the restaurant sold it’s main property at Broadway and Hildebrand to make way for The Broadway condos.
Today, December 20th marks their first soft opening where the old Timbos used to be at 1639 Broadway off of Pearl Parkway.
Earl Abel’s will open its new location at 1639 Broadway at Pearl Parkway tomorrow morning at 11am for a soft opening. We hope you join us as we begin a new chapter in Earl Abel’s history!
