SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 10, 2025) – Dunkin’ is giving back to some of San Antonio’s most dedicated healthcare professionals by surprising the Child Life Specialist team at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital with a well-deserved coffee break in honor of Child Life Specialist Month.

On Tuesday, March 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the Dunkin’ Community Cruiser will roll up to CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital, treating staff to free 12-ounce samples of its Pistachio Iced Coffee and Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher. To make the moment even sweeter, Dunkin’ will also surprise the Child Life Specialist team with donuts as a small token of appreciation for their incredible work in supporting young patients and families facing medical challenges.

Honoring Child Life Specialists

Observed annually in March, Child Life Specialist Month celebrates the professionals who help ease the hospital experience for children and families. These specialists play a crucial role in providing emotional and developmental support, helping young patients navigate medical treatments, procedures, and hospital stays with comfort and care.

Dunkin’ Community Cruiser: Bringing Coffee to the Community

The Dunkin’ Community Cruiser is a mobile coffee truck delivering free hot and iced coffee samples to local events, schools, hospitals, and businesses as part of Dunkin’s mission to support the communities it serves. The Cruiser regularly appears at sporting events, charity walks, college campuses, parades, and employee appreciation days, bringing joy and caffeine to hardworking individuals.
