A driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake while trying to park at the Magnolia Pancake Haus at the 10300 block of Huebner Rd before 9 A.M.
The uninjured driver left the scene of the accident to go eat pancakes at the establishment, according to Tricia Schleicher, a spokesperson for the restaurant.
Schleicher said that it would be business as usual and fortunate that no one was injured in the accident. The wall and refrigerated storage unit that contained bacon and eggs will need to be replaced.
“It is unfortunate for the holidays but we’re going to keep on making pancakes.” said Schleicher addressing the media.
