CPS Energy former headquarters to transform into a hotel

CPS Former HQ

CPS Energy just sold their former headquarter building along with it’s ginormous parking garage at 145 Navarro Street for a cool $19 million. The new owner, Blueprint Hospitality of Houston and Chicago already has plans for the building along the San Antonio Riverwalk.

The plans are to transform the eight-story building that was built in 1926 into a boutique hotel. This isn’t the first time Blueprint Hospitality took on projects that includes historic buildings, it’s one of their strengths. They’re actually in the middle of some renovations that are happening in Fort Worth, Little Rock, AR, and St. Louis, MO.

They’ll still be preserving the external facade with major modifications to the building internally.

The former CPS Energy headquarters building had been on the market since 2019, when they moved into their new state-of-the-art facility at 500 McCullough Ave, after extensive renovations of the former AT&T headquarters downtown San Antonio.
