COVID-19 testing at Freeman Coliseum fully booked through Tuesday

The free COVID-19 testing center at the Freeman Coliseum is fully booked through Tuesday according to San Antonio officials. There is a big increase in testing for the coronavirus as numbers rise in San Antonio.

Director of the Metropolitan Health District, Dr. Dawn Emerick advises people to call their health care professionals if they have health insurance to assist those who don’t have any coverage.

Those who are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 should self-isolate and wear a mask until they can get tested.

Monday to Wednesday a walk up testing site will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jordan Middle School.

The Texas Military Department will also have a testing site open at ESD #12, Station 136 at 11800 Highway 87, Adkins, Texas.
