Comfort Café shared the message of their second location with a shared post from Rosalina Lopez on Facebook. The post says that the new location would be taking over the former Los Patios spot. Details on the new location are being figured out in order to open by either April or May.

They are collecting dinner plates and various restaurant supplies and also they’re taking in donations through SerenityStar.org

Comfort Café has a location at 5616 Bandera Road and another location in Smithsville, TX. Comfort Café has a unique operation. They’re a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which allows customers to pay what they can.

Proceeds go to the Serenity Star Recovery that provides a safe and sober environment in Smithville, TX for families recovering from their addictions. The organization has plans on making an expansion in San Antonio on 3-acres of land for SerenityStar II.
