Folklores Coffee House has set a date to open their doors on October 13th at 3pm at 5007 S. Flores. The husband and wife store is owned by Chef Joel “Tatu” Herrera and Emilie Garcia Herrera.
The couple actually has a little story on how they decided to set-up shop on the South side of San Antonio. It all started when the couple took their honeymoon and stopped at different coffee shops in Europe to refuel. They’ve noticed that the south part of the city doesn’t really have any coffee shops. They then realized they needed to make it happen and that’s how Folklores Coffee House came to fruition.
The couple will do their best to keep up with the latest worldwide coffee trends from using a Moccamaster to using a Tabletop Syphon.
The shop will be offering barista classes and also has a “tearoom” for small and intimate gatherings.
On top of their grand opening, their neighbor, Lady Grace CBD distributor will be throwing a welcome party for people 21 and up for both businesses called CBD Bites and Frights. They will be serving up CBD infused Halloween drinks, food and more. The admission fee for the party is $30, which can be paid at the door or online.
