SAN ANTONIO — The acclaimed Castle Hills neighborhood restaurant Clementine will conclude Women’s History Month with a unique culinary and artistic experience. On March 25, the restaurant will host Clay & Cuisine, a one-night-only dinner collaboration with San Antonio ceramic artist Jesselyn Gordon.

The special event begins at 5 p.m. and blends seasonal cuisine with handcrafted ceramic artistry for an immersive dining experience.

Guests will enjoy a three-course prix fixe dinner created by chefs John Russ and Elise Russ, featuring three options per course. Menu highlights include dishes such as country-fried quail, braised lamb shank, and a lemon soufflé tart with basil ice cream. The dinner is priced at $115 per person.

Throughout the evening, diners will experience Gordon’s ceramics as part of the presentation. Each guest will dine on a selection of her handcrafted pieces, including a ceramic bowl that will take center stage during one course. At the end of the meal, guests will be able to take the bowl home as a keepsake from the experience.

“Clay & Cuisine reflects so much of what Clementine stands for: seasonal cooking, creative expression, and supporting talented local makers,” said the Russes. “Jesselyn’s work adds a beautiful layer to the dining experience, and we’re proud to celebrate her craft while highlighting women-owned businesses during Women’s History Month.”

In addition to the dinner, guests will have the opportunity to browse and purchase Gordon’s newest ceramic collection, which includes vases, bowls, and other handcrafted pieces.

Reservations are required and can be made through OpenTable.
