Protective mask and a hand sanitizer

City to help small businesses with free supplies

The city of San Antonio is lending a helping hand to small businesses and local non-profit organizations with free supplies to help with their reopening.

The economic development department is offering one non-contact thermometer, two-gallons of hand sanitizer and face masks.

In order to qualify, those businesses need to meet these requirements:

  • Must be a small business or nonprofit with a public-serving location within the City of San Antonio
  • Must have been impacted by state or local COVID-19 executive order closure requirements
  • Must have been in operation prior to March 1, 2020
  • Must have no more than 25 employees (full or part time) or contract workers
  • Must register and receive a 10-digit confirmation code to pickup supplies.

Those can register with the city of San Antonio on their official website: https://covid19.sanantonio.gov/What-YOU-Can-Do/Reopening-Safely/Greater-SAfer-Together or calling 3-1-1 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Registrations are based on a first come, first served basis as supplies are limited.
