The city of San Antonio is lending a helping hand to small businesses and local non-profit organizations with free supplies to help with their reopening.
The economic development department is offering one non-contact thermometer, two-gallons of hand sanitizer and face masks.
In order to qualify, those businesses need to meet these requirements:
- Must be a small business or nonprofit with a public-serving location within the City of San Antonio
- Must have been impacted by state or local COVID-19 executive order closure requirements
- Must have been in operation prior to March 1, 2020
- Must have no more than 25 employees (full or part time) or contract workers
- Must register and receive a 10-digit confirmation code to pickup supplies.
Those can register with the city of San Antonio on their official website: https://covid19.sanantonio.gov/What-YOU-Can-Do/Reopening-Safely/Greater-SAfer-Together or calling 3-1-1 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Registrations are based on a first come, first served basis as supplies are limited.
As #SanAntonio reopens, we are here to help. On May 27, the City of San Antonio will host the Greater. Safer. Together. Supply Pickup Day for local small businesses and nonprofits who are in need of COVID-19 safety supplies. Register at: https://t.co/nCFsD5x5mP or by calling 311 pic.twitter.com/G3cldaqWHU
