The City of San Antonio Parks Foundation will be hosting one of the largest celebratory events in Military City USA. You’re all invited out to Woodlawn Lake Park to celebrate the birth of our great nation. This event is free, open to the public and packed with plenty of activities and entertainment as well as delicious food from local food vendors.
There will be carnival games and rides, children’s activities and workshops. Take advantage of the free Zumba session to workout from 10am – noon at the Woodlawn gym. Have children? There will be activities set up near the playground under the pavilion with children activities provided by Little Red Wagon and H-E-B from 11am – 2pm.
Enjoy family friendly entertainment by DJ Plata and live performances from the United States Air Force Band of the West. Spectators then will be able to enjoy the free fireworks spectacular brought to you by your hometown H-E-B after 9pm.
There’s some things to know before you go:
- No overnight camping will be allowed.
- There will be no alcohol allowed or for sale as it is an alcohol-free environment.
- Please respect the neighborhood
- Leave the park clean, if you have a spot pick up after yourself.
- Bring blankets, chairs, water bottles, sunscreen, umbrella, and bags for garbage and recycling.
- Parking is first come, first served around the perimeter of the park.
The event takes place on July 4th, 2022 from 11am – 9:30pm at 1103 Cincinnati Ave – San Antonio, Texas
